Moving day, Yokota Air Base

Moving day! After two months of living out of suitcases, it was so nice to see our belongings again! Everything was boxed up, wrapped in paper and loaded into these wooden shipping crates. Our moving crew was awesome, the best by far, that we have ever had. They wouldn’t even take a lunch break!

They unloaded everything to the lawn, then unwrapped it and carried it in.

It got worse before it got better!

Our new home, we are the unit on the far left. There are 4 families per building, It basically has NO curb appeal and is very tiny, but it has grown on me.

I really like these Japanese doors, they let in a lot of light.

The girls love this big tree in the front yard. Perfect for climbing!

The other end of the front yard.

We have a very private and shady outdoor space. It will be nice once we get it fixed up.

The kitchen.

Did I say small? This is the closet in the master bedroom. Yikes!!

It is so nice to finally be moved in and settled. Now, let the adventure begin!
